I must have opened and closed my 09 more than 100 times as well. Any chance you used 3rd party hw with the roof such that it could open and close while driving etc? I almost always operate mine with the engine on and while the car is stationary.

I am not sure, but I prefer not to count on the battery having enough juice to both open the roof and start the car haha... just in case...
I remember it said somewhere that the pump gets hot if you open and close the roof continually. I mean if you open and close it again and again without pausing, like just for fun... so we probably should avoid that For me it makes sense to just open / close the roof while the car is warming up / cooling down respectively with the engine running anyway. |
