Anyone replaced their exhaust tips?

As in just the tips just for looks, anybody replaced theirs yet w/o a full new exhaust?

Looking to get rid of the silver exhaust tips in my 28i. Any suggestions? Looking for something black if possible.

You can get them powder coated. This might be easier than trying find tips that fit.

to get them powder coated you'll have to remove them. I just went with some high temp, satin black. Also allows you to easily strip it later when selling.

So far has held up with a pressure washer.

Where did you get your tips from Gary, if you don't mind me asking?

Removing them is easy. They're a press fit. Just get under the car and tap on the edge of the tip with a hammer (with a small piece of wood in between). Comes right off.

To be honest, I'm not usually either, but I thought with the "sunglasses needed to look at it" yellow and all the blacked trim it would look good.

Or anyone know the diameter and length of the exhaust tips at least? Having a hard time finding info on which tips would fit. Found the part # though (18307618683) but further info is almost non-existent.

Thanks!

The exhaust tips are welded on 35i.
