I really love my Omega Deville X2 chrono (big Omega fan) and recently bought a Bell&Ross from their aviator collection. Like it a lot!

Well I have a few and it depends on my mood, what I am wearing and the weather...don't have my Z4 yet it is due for delivery end of March.
Omega Speedmaster "Manual" Mont Blanc Timewalker Chrono (Crystal back Automatic) Paneria Luminor Marina PAM104 (Crystal back Automatic) Bell & Ross BR01-94 Carbon "Automatic" If I had to pick a favourite, the Speedmaster, it was my first major watch purchase all those years ago, as men's watches go it is still sheer class today, it has been worn as my every day watch almost every day for 10 years. |

Yet another Omega zealot here. I have two Speedmasters, one 40 years old and the other less than 2 years old. I figure every 38 years or so I'll get a new one.

I have a buddy of mine who has a 1968 Speedmaster, it was a limited release for the Apollo 8 mission. his father gave it to him maybe 20 years ago he has since passed away, the father not my friend...the Speedmaster looks like it has just been purchased.

I'm a Citizen EcoDrive fan myself.
I have one in titanium for working, one in Gold with diamonds for show and one in black metal with world time for travelling. Had the titanium one for about 15 years. The battery has another 35 years of warranty to go. They are cheap enough to lose and nice enought to use.

You've got to be an engineer to have a watch like that. How many functions does it have?

That is stunning for its age, my friends is on a black croc strap not original I suspect, but his case has a release number on it and the box has a small plaque with the limited release details. It has been a few years since I have seen it, he let me borrow it once and I recall the overwhelming feeling of having so much history and quality on my wrist...I absolutely adore mine but to have an original 68 -74 must be a bit special. note...the one in the ad is I believe before they sent them into space so the glass is crystal and not hesalite plus no NASA inscription on the rear case which only appeared after Apollo 11, or gasket on the back plate. I suspect this is a very early 68 model as the 321 calibre was changed to the 861 calibre which eventually became the 1861 calibre we still have today. My friends watch is the 861 calibre and in absolute mint condition... |
