For those that got rid of RFT's, what......
tire pressures are you running? I am getting Continental DWs in 235 35-19 front and 275 30-19 rear. Thanks

As for tire pressure there sre simple formulas based on weight of your car. I recommend you google "Tire Pressure" and you can read all about it. Cheers, Rolf-Dieter

I run 36 psi all around except on road trips where I increase the rear pressure to 40 psi to account for luggage in the boot.

You can check different tire sizes and their impact here http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp. Sidewall height on stock is 3.01 in (76.454 mm) vs 3.24 in (82.296 mm) on 275. -Marc |

I just swapped out the stock RFTs for Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires (F: 235/30/19; R: 275/30/19). My first impression was that not much had changed, but then it became apart to me that the ride was quieter, less jarring over uneven pavement, and just all around tighter.
I was worried about the rear tires not fitting and the MB dealer I brought my car to to get the tires mounted were also hesitant to mount them, but there doesn't seem to be any issues with this setup as other members have stated. |
