Group buy TVfree and CTMfree

hi guys,

i just bought the TVfree tool from prochip.de and i am really flabbergasted. The handling is incredibly easy so that the unlock is done within few sec. There is no necessity of installing of any Module or cutting wires. Just plug the tool to the ODB connecter and push a button. Plug&Play… Just awesome.

I would also like to buy the CTMfree tool and i was thinking about a group buy. i am pretty sure if some of you guys are in we can get a good deal as the owner is a pretty cool guy.

so please let me know if somebody is interested.

I should have uninstalled my TVfree and CTM when I took my car in for the HPFP and software reprogram at the stealership. I lost both programming and not sure if I can reinstall them using the existing device. I think it is a 1 time use only. I haven't tried since I forgot where I put them.

How many channels did you have with TVfree?
Also, what can CTM do?

There is no channel. It just lets you watch DVD while car is in movement. The CTM allows you to drop and open top while car is in motion up to 20 or 25mph.

So, CTM is same as smartTop..
DVD in motion can be coded easily.
I think smartTop is more functional as it has ability to close and open by remote and one touch open close as well along with open and closing in motion.

i just talked to andreas.

the Tool is limited for 3 cars. that means that you can use it for the 3 cars as often as you want. it is not 1 time use only. so you can go ahead and reinstall it and works also with current dealer installed software.

CTM and smartTop is not the same. CTM is a simple tool. no wire cutting. just plug&play, after use it via obd connector (takes 15sec) you can remove it from your car.

smartTop is a module thich needs to be installed.

tvfree is for both, dvd while driving and if you have a optional tvtuner in your car also for tv.

Silviu,
do you know whether TVfree can make other things controlable in motion?
E60, previous 5 series, in Korea has stupid locked navi system while driving.
Which means you cannot even control the navigation as well as watching DVD.
If TVfree cannot unlock this, does anyone know which tool can unlock this?
