Insurance / Trackers BMW Trackstar vs Trackstar 5

Hi All,
Mum takes delivery of her Z4 shortly.
The insurance company is asking for a tracker.

Does anyone have a Z4 insured in the UK without a tracker? If so which company are you with?

If you do have a tracker, did you get BMW Trackstar or Trackstar 5?

If you have Trackstar 5 how do you find the driver authentication?
Is it easy to use?

My wife has a 2010 Z4 (2.3) and it is insured with Direct Line. Although it is fitted with a Trackstar, Direct Line said it was not necessary for the insurance.

wth is trackstar?? BMW doesn't offer vehicle recovery in the UK??

Its a BMW option in the UK so I guess via a 3rd party they offer recovery.
