Why you should not leave pets, kids, aerosols in a hot car...
This was just too funny and I had to share it. It started with a coworker and I talking yesterday at lunch that it's so hot outside you could probably cook food in your car.
So I had the idea of actually trying. In the morning, I took a cup of noodle, put it in the car, took the temperature measurement, and then poured cold water into the cup. 2 hrs later, I went back to check on it. And yes, I ate the noodles and I'm perfectly fine. This is the exact reason why people should NEVER leave their kids or pets or aerosols (e.g. sunscreen, bug spray, *gasp* propane tanks) in a car on a hot day. Yeah, I'm not looking forward to (accidentally) touching my aluminum trim today after work.

Got one better.
Exploded can of ginger beer inside car on hot day. Eff'n soda everywhere. A sticky mess all over the leather. On the up side, my car is cleaner on the inside than when I bought it. |

I'll do you one better. A growler of arrogant bastard ale in an old truck. The car smelled like a rotten pumpkin mixed with ass for months.

at least pop for some decent ramen.
I've determined through careful experimentation (e.g. going for a drive) that around 95F is when the inside of my car becomes too damned hot for my candy white ass, even with ceramic tint and the A/C on max. I'm meeelllllllllting... |

I wouldn't want my car to smell like noodles. That's what a microwave is for.

Had a kid back in highschool paint some trim on his Honda Civic and left the spray can on his passenger seat through the school day with the windows rolled up. Came back and the can had imploded from the pressure, blowing 3/4 of a red can of paint on the interior. I had pictures but that was many moons ago. Ignorance is bliss.

i don't think the noodles look like that because it "was cooked at the same temps as a microwave".
