This is a tough one. As a father-in-law, it can be a bit tough to call a son in law son unless they have opened the door for that option by calling you dad.

In my case, I chatted with my son-in-law before the wedding and asked him what he preferred. He told me he wanted to call me dad and me to call him son. It alleviated those uncomfortable moments when you are not sure what to call the other person.
