After a week in the Belgian heatwave ...
Saturday 27/8/2016 ...11:10 PM , it sounds like there is a train on the roof of my house !
This is a tropical thunderstorm ! (right now)

I see outside 2-3 flashes of lightning every second , and it sounds like the thunder is very close ...thunder sounds like a evil cannon from hell , and I can feel the vibrations of it inside my house !

This is no shit !
Probably we can expect damage in Belgium...

The shit finally went over , there is still some strong wind but it's ok for the moment .
Outside I see everywhere leaves and branches of trees ...

Note: My house is ok as well , because I have 6 cm full massive meranti wooden shutters for every window of my house.
Think the temps from the last week were too hot for Belgium !

Everything today was canceled at my work for the weekend by the heat , so I had the chance this morning to jump in my ///M to drive through the Belgian Ardennes !
My route was near by Francorchamps and I ended up in a traffic jam only 2-3 miles from Francorchamps ..This year there are a lot of spectators for Max !

Funny part was that there were also 2 Americans for the race in the hotel ..

He could not, his driving habits are...hmm...a little bit trashy, so to speak.
At least it bothers me, that Hamilton is be celebrated for getting the second place ever for his super hang-on to catch up from last to thrird place. Evertime champ stays Michael Schumacher for jumping from 24th to 6th place. Nevertheless, Hamilton dont drove his places, he was participating from the crashes and the red flag phase. I really dont like him. For Nico its a good re-run to the top, next week Monzas on the schedule, lets watch it.

Yeah....Max came sadly never in the race , because he had trans. problems ..
Think we saw that in his bad start as well , because his car had a bad respons in his launch ..
That's why he had also a lot of talk about his problem with the engineers while the race was temporary stopped by the red flag .
He's car was today clearly nok ...let us hope for better in Monza .

Not happy with VES's driving today. The defending was not safe.

As far as HAM coming through, the red flag actually hurt him. He was set up to run 28-33 laps on the MED tire. This was extended from the 27 recommended by Pirelli prior to the race. The red flag removed this advantage by bringing in everyone and thereby allowing a tire change. Had it been necessary to run on the tires without the Red flag, HAM would have had a real opportunity to win the race. He would have been on the SOFT tire for the last 11-15 laps and ROS would have been on the MED. HAM would have had a legitimate chance to win.

The results are speculative but the fact that the Red Flag ruined HAM's strategy is not.

Spa is a very special and tricky track, which is well known for horrible crashes and/or spectacular maneuvres.
But this had surely nothing to do with a possible strategy Hamiltons may have had. Even if he assumed to make a big catch within the first slot, thats pure speculation and couldnt be proved afterwards. IMO Hamilton never has a real chance to win the race and from my personal point of view it was the right time to set him back because I really dont like Nikki Laudas way to push him through against all matters against Nico. Thats not the fine art into a team, I think their drivers qualities are nearly equal and therefore both of them deserves the same chance. If at least a penalty is necessary to reset the chances, well, thats maybe Kismet
