Service position of the roof cycle while working in the trunk?

I was working with the trims in the trunk today.
Trunk started to close while working. Which could have caused damage or injury.
I think there is a service position it should be safer.
But I couldn't find it yet.

I have a video coming shortly, to my channel, to demonstrate this, unfortunately I've not got it uploaded yet though.

1) Open the boot.
2) Using a screwdriver, or similar, press in the two catches on the boot lid. On pressing in the second one you'll hear the pull-down motor.
3) Close down the boot lid so that it sits on the stops (DO NOT drop it down!!)
4) The car now thinks that the boot is closed.
5) Using either the key fob or the button, press and hold the roof open button. The rear roof will come up and sit on the front roof, then the deck will raise.
6) When the deck is in the highest position release the button.
7) You can now open the boot lid for full access to the boot area.
You are now in Service Position

** Additional **
1) For extra security prop up the boot lid with a length of wood
2) Prop up the deck with a broom handle between the inner side of the deck and the boot bulkhead.
3) Watch your head while working under the open boot lid.

Returning to normal
1) Remove any props
2) Gently lower the boot lid down
3) Press and hold the roof close button (on the dash)
4) Once it's back in the roof closed position go to the boot
5) Press the boot roundal and open the boot
6) Close the boot as normal
All complete

Hope that helps

Thanks for the reply.

Great, waiting for the video. I realized yesterday how dangerous that trunk can be. I did not even notice the trunk was closing down on me, if I were a few seconds late I could have been injured.
