A/C comes on at start up ?

It drives me nuts ! Why does my car A/C come on when I start it up ? Is that normal ? Maybe I am missing something in one of the settings with Comfort Access ?

AFAIK it always does that ..

Yes, it does that from factory. But it’s programmable. A bloke here programmed it for me to be the last setting. If turn it off, it will be off next time I climb into the car.

It's not a regular user setting. This bloke connects his laptop to the car and programmes, among other things, the aircon.

Thought maybe I can set it with comfort access to my key. Oh well.

You guys switch the ac off when roof is down?
I have always kept mine on and never even needed it to stay off...

I switch it off normally when the roof is down..unless it gets above 30c and tehn I may pop it on..need to save power for the engine..

FWIW BMW intended for the a/c to run with the roof down..
