from lexus to z4

Hey guys so i want to make the jump from my current lexus is 250 to a z4. But i plan on leasing the z4 and since there are so many good lease take overs on the classified listing, it makes me really want to make the jump. My problem is that i still have a lien on the lexus. What would be the best way to make the change over? Sell the car back to the lexus dealer and then going for a at the bmw dealership? or take the car to bmw directly and asking for a lease? Thanks guys for the help.

try Carmax. they will buy ur car without buying one of theirs. the easiest way to unload ur car.

doesn't matter. they will still buy it if the car check out ok. u'll basically give them whatever u owe upside down & they will pay it off for u.

try 1800carcash...i just sold my z4 coupe to them...i broke almost even on the lien..theyre in manhattan..theyll cut you a check on the spot.

I know...I loved my coupe but hey I do have the newer Z4 now.

BMW dealer will low ball you and pass car off to a wholesaler. You have not said how much your lien is. Therefore it's problematic if you will take a financial beating.

+1 ... or they pay you and then add 5 to 8K to what they paid you and sell it again ... I know this since they did it with my trade in(s)

I've counted 7 e89s in the parking garage at work .

I'm not sure but it could have something to do with the fact that the BMW IT Research Center shares the garage with us .

Actually, makes me wonder if there is a statistic as to which profession Z4 drivers are ... used to read in a couple of articles that IT Managers really liked the Acura TL (that was several years ago ... when the TL still looked pretty -- actually, had one myself).

I'm in IT Management (CIO), almost bought a TL, bought an IS350 instead, and now the Z4. How's that for stereotypes?!?

Take your IS to CarMax rather than a Lexus stealership. You'll get more for it.

Or, tell the BMW dealership how much you owe on it and demand they bail you out or no deal (worked for me in the past)
