Z4 Extended Maintenance and Warranty Prices

All,

I do not see any talk or discussion on the Extended Maintenance or Warranty prices on our Z4 and thought I will start this thread for folks to post what they have found to be the best rates on their Z's for these services.

I'll bite - I got the following quotes -

Maintenance Plan - $1785 (MSRP: $2095)
Extended Warranty (Class B Vehicle) - Platinum 7yrs / 70k total miles - $3100 (MSRP: $3500)
Tire and Wheel Protection - 5 yrs for $1600, 3yrs for $1400

Have any of you received better quotes on these plans that you can share with the community?

When I looked into extended warranty for my E46 M3, I quickly found out that the mileage (then age) of the car is the most important factor in determining the cost of the warranty. I looked at Fidelity, Mercury, and EasyCare. They are all about the same. It is also important to use a warranty that your dealer is familiar with.

I was quoted $2900 for a $3500 Platinum msrp extended warranty. This was from an out of state dealer. The ones here in Northern California seemed to have trouble moving off of the msrp. $2900 to $3100 seems like a good deal.

Since I asked the question I talked to a Dealer and BMW won't allow you to convert a CPO to anything better. I

Seems high. Based on the chat in the 3 and the M series, it seems like folks have got it between $2600 and $3000. Guess I will have to try Costco's program to see if its any better.
