A HS friend is living in a tiny house parked in the yard of another HS friend’s place. He didn’t build it himself but does live in it. Very cool idea. Guy’s got a Tesla S, a pickup truck, a beater Honda Civic parked in front along with a few hundred thousands in the bank (bought a condo during rh crash, sold it recently during uprise and moved into a tiny house). He’s also making $150-200k a year with his new job. Very smart guy and extremely focused and efficient. Pretty inspirational if you ask me.

I can see the appeal to an extent. I've live in small houses and my wife and I like them, but seriously unless you're in a pretty moderate climate the cabin fever will get really bad in winter if you've only got 200 sq/ft of indoor living space.
