235s on 17s?

I searched, but didn't find this answered... hoping someone else has already done this...

I have the 17" wheels (225 run flats, square setup). Does anyone know if those wheels will take 235x17 tires if I decide to go to that size?

Found the rim width and other specs of the OEM wheels on my 2016 Z4 28i:

Wheel Part Number: #71354
2009-2016 BMW Z4
Size: 17" x 8", 5 Lug, 120mm Bolt Pattern, 29mm Offset

So just need to check if 235/45R17 will fit an 8" rim (car came with 225/44R17 tires).
