For all the z4 riders who had changed non-RFT, does the tire pressure check system still work and warn you when the tire pressure is low?

He then slowed down as if to allow me to catch up. As I was coming up next to him, he floored it & so did I. My Z4 flew past him so fast it was unbelievable. He tried hard to catch up but just couldn't do it. I later heard that drag racing is a felony so I had better cool it.
I have a C6 Corvette, and a 35is. I'm sorry, but that Vette driver either didn't want to risk getting caught, or he just sucked at driving. No offense, but my Vette will trounce my Z4 any day of the week.

Either those reasons or his new tires suddenly added 200hp lol.

Yes it does. I understand it uses the ABS sensors to detect changes in one wheels speed relative to the others, and this happens irrespective of whether you have RFT or non RFT tyres.

It's not like the newer system which tells you the actual pressures.

Actually, depends on the market. US market use direct measurement via TPMS and not the indirect method via ABS like you mentioned for your respective market. Regardless though, pressure system check still works without any problem.

Anyone knows a high performance Corvette can trounce a Z4 any day of the week. The other guy must have really sucked at driving then. We were both easily exceeding double the speed limit so he was obviously not worried about getting caught. I'm also not sure what model he was driving as there are so many Corvettes on the roads these days, I've lost track. I previously had a 1997 C5 and I believe my current Z4 is a faster car.
