Be nice, LUX. You don't hear me disparaging all the various shades of grey BMW puts on its cars (which I hate), do you?

I think you mean 'classic' greys!
But then if we all had classic grey what colour would we turn our noses up at? Long live the reds and yellows I say!!

I see the 2013 MY Z4 comes with the OEM wind deflector as standard equipment.
It's one reason I'm glad I waited to get a '13. I was hoping for an LCI but got a wind deflector instead.

Had mine when they were first out 3 years ago, so to wait for a 2013 version with a 'free' bit of plastic and mesh (that restricts your rear view) wasn't an option for me!

hi! if you read this thread you will see where I purchased from, they are also on Ebay. The issue for many will also be the postage cost as it comes from Germany. I don't know if it is available or similar in the US. I think they do them for Hartge and AC Shnitzer....

You can buy the glass unit from UR-Windschott in Germany. They will ship to the US. I believe the charges were 30 Euro. It's about $450 total depending on the conversion rate. If you call them they do speak english.
