I kept the silver bits around the multifunction controls, as the black was a little too severe. Must add that you can't do this mod without tripping the airbag warning light..so you need this reset after its been changed....

Garage List
2009 BMW Z4  [8.00]
2004 BMW 525i  [0.00]

As in my older post, Re-wraping the steering wheel, make it thicker + tri-color stitching, cost 10% of what you pay for M wheel

Yes, you can if you pull the positive terminal from the battery and wait a few minutes.

I'm still undecided as I think the thinner wheel looks more elegant and the thicker wheel doesn't really sit well without the M Sport interior.

I also note you have what BMW call in the UK the white design interior, yet the top of the dash doesn't appear to be covered in leather (extended leather is part of the white design interior in the UK) is that correct?

anyone else notice that our steering wheel looks like it was jacked from a bumper car at a carnival?

I like to feel of m3 style wheel but visually I think stock wheel looks much better. It would have been so nice if it had a flat bottom like the one in r8.

my previous z4 didn't have M sport so it had the normal wheel

for fun driving, I love the M sport wheel
But I do miss the heated steering wheel my previous Z4 had. You cannot get Msport with heated steering unfortunately
