Spot on paint protection film

I have a new to me white 2009 Z4 35i. It has a paint protection film on the front bumper, mirrors and hood. I am not sure what brand it is.

A couple of days ago a bird left a present and there is now a small brown spot on the film. I tried vinegar and a mild cleaner wax and it had no impact on the spot.

Does the group have any other suggestions for this annoying spot on the hood?

Toothpaste. It's a mild abrasive.

Mr. Clean magic eraser. Never tried it on my car, but it has been the best product for me in taking out spots on my fiberglass boat .

Expel makes a paint protection film cleaner that removes such problems left by "nature". You can find it on the Expel website. It is safe for all paint protection film even if you have something other than Expel. I have PPF on my white Z4 too.

Thanks for all of the tips. The sun actually just faded the spot away in a few days.
