Question on wheel size!
I am trying to buy new sets of wheels.
One I am looking for is DPE 20' wheels. Their size is following with the tire (with Toyo Proxes T1R) 20 x 8.5 Front 20 x 10 Rear 245/30/20 285/25/20 It's exactly same size that the "Slingshot" used. Slingshot refering to MWDesign black e89. Will it be too large for the car? Also, these are the information from the seller. 20 x 8.5 Front (M3 offset also fits 5 Series with or without spacers) 20 x 10 Rear (M3 offset also fits 5 Series with or without spacers) Tires are Toyo Proxes T1-R 245/30/20 with 95% tread (the nubs are still on the inside) 285/25/20 with 95%+ tread (the nubs are still on the inside) |

Personally I think 20" overpowers the look of the car. Also, with a profile of 25 on the rears you had better have a few replacement wheels in your garage at all times. Or drive on glass smooth roads with no pothole in sight for miles. I was really tempted to downsize my 19" wheels for fear of busting another rim.

I've been driving 25 profile tires in the rear since 2005 and I haven't had any issues with bent rims in Vancouver or even occasional out of town driving.
tayab: if those offsets are for the new e92 M3 or e60 5-series, then the offsets are too aggressive. The Z4 runs similar to the e90 aggressive offsets. |

I saw your car several times in UBC golf course. Haha. Nice car. Anyways, do you know any wheel, tire shop that carries Modulare forged wheels? Or DPE wheels? Any suggestion? |
