Weird, I never heard any complaints about length or angle, and mine likes it rough.

This is true, did the first to an ex-gf of mine and she smacked her head into the side of my firebird. She cried. I laugh about it now...cheating WH*%$

To OP, what else is she afraid of? Other unusual trust issues? People who have had a traumatic event forced on them can have serious issues when they lose control in what they perceive to be a dangerous situation. If you force her to ride along on a wild ride it will get worse. If this is an issue for you or there are other similar concerns with her, time to move on. I'm sure it won't get better.

May be vertigo. My mom has it and the few times I drive with her she gets uncomfortable on backroads and changing lanes on the highway.

My girlfriend has below zero tolerance for anything involving a curve taken at above 20mph. She gets scared we are going to crash and says her head hurts when I take corners "quickly" (which in reality, is about 25-30mph). Basically, any kind of backroads are just out of the question. I would love to do some road trips or something like a Euro Delivery trip, but the entire drive would just suck.

It's even stranger because outright speed doesn't bother her in a straight line. It's just curves. Elevation changes, in particular, really bother her.

She likes cars, she'll even try to race me for fun when she's in her car. It's just a curvy road/being a passenger thing. I'm almost wondering if it's a medical condition like vertigo or something. Seems like it doesn't affect her when she's driving as much (maybe a control thing)?

Either way, it's really f*cking annoying.
My gf gets nauseous when taking turns or if I accelerate/brake too hard. I have to admit, when I am the passenger it even happens to me sometimes. I think it's a form of motion sickness. However, when you are driving, your mind is concentrating elsewhere and does not have the ability to feel the sickness.

1. Blindfold her. Be gentle, women are fragile creatures.
2. Say you are taking her somewhere romantic (They like being schmoozed over).
3. Mash the gas in the twists and turns.
4. Explain mapquest took you on a detour.
5. Pull back in driveway and walk her back to the kitchen (you'll be hungry after, and dinner won't cook itself).

My ex didn't like it. That's why she's my ex. Well, one of the reasons.
