My neighbors new dog.

It's a Tibetan mastiff and she's 15 weeks old and already Weighs close to 40 pounds and he says he does know what he's gotten himself into.

That's awesome. Powerful dog breed! And since I already complain how much my Rottweilers shed, I can't even imagine how much shedding a Tibetan Mastiff would do.

mastiffs can get really really big. They are absolutely amazing dogs though!

Good looking dog. He needs to live on a farm house with a good bit of land.

I wonder some times what people are thinking when that get a dog like that and try to contain them in a house, these kind of dogs need space and you better plan on replacing furniture all the time unless you teach them to stay off you couch.

I have a 3 year old English Mastiff and he is a tremendous dog. Heart of gold, super loyal, gentle with the kids and friendly to other dogs and people. Giant breeds are definitely a challenge to own. He is 215 lbs. His father weighs in at 240 lbs. He eats about 16 cups of food per day, drinks gallons of water and smells like a hockey locker room. His farts will melt off your eyebrows with their potency, but I love him to death.

LOL!!!

Even my Doberman eats 3lbs of raw meat per day.., I couldn't imagine feeding that beast.

It's all hair. Probably looks like a greyhound when all wet.

a mastiff like that needsd about 2 acres of land to run on.

it also should never be tied up to anything...

luckily ya'll live in Mass where the weather is a bit more forgiving for his coat.

down here, that dog would immediately stroke out being outside lol.....

Agree with Billup on needing a big shovel. That dog's going to leave something that resembles a loaf of bread in the yard on a daily basis.

Should the dog have a nice luscious coat of fur, they could always break out the trimmers and just clear out a landing pad.

I've seen a Great Dane poo, it was steaming for at least a solid 2 hours. Did not want to go near.

Unless I had one of these bad boys:
