I thought many of you might be interested in my review of the Z4 sDrive23i. I'm driving it while visiting Austrian wine country.

Jonathan I hate to nitpick but I believe there is a word missing from the end of this sentence, "It comes with a 201 hp 2.5-liter inline-six engine, which is more than enough power to get me from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in about 6 seconds and I found myself easily hitting 140 km/h or higher much effort."

I have the same engine in my 323i.

Automatic 6-sp., it is rated at 8.1s for 0-62mph....even a 1998 Honda Accord 200HP 4-sp. was faster!

Very nice, Jonathan. A beautiful car. Excellent photos to go with the story, too.

Have you posted what you thought about the 35i variant? If you have, I missed it, but I see from the article you've driven that one, too. I've been thinking about giving it a test drive sometime.

Most probably you own a E90 with the DETUNED version of the N52B25 engine which outputs 170hp and was available only in the canadian market. This explains the bad rating for 0-100km/h.
Even if that's not the case and your E90 has not the detuned version, then your bad rating is due to the transmission and final drive ratios which are VERY different in the Z4 (more shorter).
The N52B25 engine is definitely not that bad.

True for the 2006 E90 323i, but 2007 and on received the 200hp version.

Not absolutly correct...

23i 6,6 (7,3 automatic)
30i 5,8 (6,1 automatic)
35i 5,2 (5,1 DCT)
