Does coding (enabling hidden features) cause any warranty issues?
If I take my '11 35is in for service and they see eg I have a digital speedo enabled will they cry foul and void the warranty? Are you supposed to reverse all the changes every time you take your car in? I have installed SmarTop which I love but it is easy to disable that whenever I take it in. Any input would be appreciated and may guide how much coding I am willing to do.

They don't care what you have in your car until something brakes. Then they can say the repair is not under warranty if it's believed that the after market part is at fault.
