Picked up the family hauler...
Sorry for the file sizes... Am posting from the lounge on my phone while waiting for the plant tour to start.
First impressions are great. Sound is very aggressive, steering very tight and quick ratio, 15" brake rotors look great and the front bumper is packed with radiators. my complaints about cooling capacity of previous car look to be a thing of the past! Congrats! It looks nice. I can't remember, is the Z4 out of your stable now, or is this an addition?

Great deal on set of style 325 wheels, tires, tmps in the classifieds If there was an e89 z4m fixed roof coupe from the 1m and e90 m3 parts bin would have been all over that instead... |

Yes wife has the 335 for another year. M3 options are similar so decent chance she will get it when her lease is up. We are big fans of the 3er (this is our 4th) and i think this is a keeper! Am in EU. Just did a tourist lap of the ring. Too chicken to go for it since it was wet! Car is a lot of fun. Love the focus. Edit: asbjorn, power is ok (stock, pump gas, dynos of other f80 are around 420whp and weight is around. 3550lb) but putting the power down is already a bit of a struggle. I'm definitely swapping out the PSS to something stickier once I get back to the States. We'll see from there. I will need a lot of track day time to figure the car out before changes. My skills are definitely outclassed by the car right now. It's a beast. Last edited by nicknaz; 03-31-2015 at 04:19 PM.. |

Looks good. I assume that is you in the last pic. You look younger than in my mind's eye. Must be the intelligence and wisdom of your posts.

I like the look too, but then, the Z4 looked even sportier.... The true test will be later this summer when the ambient temps are 100F in the Socal desert and it is getting pushed in the dry.... |

I really had to be careful picking the right angles when shooting photos of my Z4 next to the new M3 in order for the Z4 to still look sporty and aggressive in comparison. It is much easier next to an SLK or TT haha. |

Really looking forward to seeing your F80 in the flesh. Did not realize you got the cloth seats. Very wise choice! |

Yes, I went with a pretty stripped down build. DCT, rear sunshades, HK stereo, and enhanced bluetooth were the only options. For a minute I was going with an absolutely zero options build but these 4 options needed to be on the car for the MRS to even consider taking it over as her daily to replace the 335 |
