Probably time to take a picture and put into photo shop and make a decision...
Just do what i did when i wanted to paint my wheels. I photo shopped the color so that i could get peoples opinions on the matter. Then i posted a poll to see what everyone thought and that is how i chose the wheel color i painted them.

http://e89.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=781612 Looks like the photo was removed now but at least you get the picture. You could just put up swatches that you like and let people pick.

I would like to see someone try M sport 3 color stripe either on the blob, or if using the boomerang, just behind the lights. I will try the variations myself but not really very motivated,
Actually I liked the gray blob on the grey car for a clean look, and I really don't care for the S-drive piece, but most guys are trying to look like a newer model year.

On my Titanium Silver I think the pre-LCI side markers blend in pretty well and are close to invisible. I'm also not a fan of the LCI ones simply because I actively dislike chrome; there's no way I'd add a big piece of it. It also gives it more of a vent look and I dislike fake vents even more than chrome.

I agree. The LCI is a step back in appearance.

wish I could get the chrome lettering off without making a mess. I would get rid of the boomerang too. Then I would try to make an M 3 color emblem out of the blob or if that didn't work out just paint it silver like the car.

The lettering should come off pretty easily. I got rid of my "S Drive 35i" a while ago. Just peel slowly and carefully, and use Goof Off to get rid of the remains of the adhesive.

LCI markers are quite bad and prefer pre-facelift ones. The best ones though are these from neubbes

Hello,

my 35is is already a LCI but I didn't like the chrome to the Valencia Orange, so it was painted black together with the mirror caps and roll bar covers.

Those look really cool, I just put the LCI markers but would love to see more pics / info on those. Did a quick search and found nothing. Care to share the source?

...I know that the M-Style is tailor made and nothing easily plug and play.

Perhaps nuebbes can explain some more details.

Any chance you can share where those side markers come from? I did a bunch of digging and came up empty handed .... Thanks!

I like the chrome LCI markers. They look tight...
