Offset inquiry

Excuse my ignorance:

I have been reading on this site and google and other forums and I have yet to find a solid answer to my questions..
So I am hoping to find someone who can help me

I was wondering what offset rims would fit the e89 Z4

There is a set of DPEs for sale that I'm interested in, but I'm unsure if they will fit..

Front is et 28, rear is et44..

I know that for my e93, I would need a 10mm spacer in the rear, but the front would be fine.
But I have no idea on the Z4..

and my own set of DPEs are et37 and et32 if I remember correctly... I'm wondering if they would fit.

I have read that 30-40mm will fit, but when I asked EAS, they told me the rear is et45 and front is et40

Any clarification would be helpful.

It depends on your wheel width. Try this:

Here is all I can tell you:

The OEM 18" come in 8"/29mm front; 8.5"/40mm rear.
The OEM 19: come in 8"/29mm front; 9"/40mm rear.

Since I don't know the width of the DPE you are considering, you will have to figure that one out when you have the actual width of the wheels.

The numbers from EAS are wrong and they are just assuming that the E89 will run the same wheels as the E92 which is not the case.

The ones I'm considering:
Set A
19x8F et28
19x10R et44

My wheels, from what the original owner told me, are:
Set B
19x8.5 and 19x10 (could well be 19x8...)
et 32 and et 38

Using the link you sent me, the fronts from the one's I'm considering should fit perfect since the difference is only 1mm

However, the rear says that 23mm less inner clearance, and it'll extend out 15mm more...

So the front would fit but the rear wouldn't right? (the one's I'm considering buying, Set A)

and the rears from Set B (what I have) also don't seem to be great...

so... fronts good, rears bad..?
Or did I miss something?

Do you happen to know the OEM tire sizes as well?

Keep mind we are running wider wheels in order to use the offsets we have listed.

The front should run just fine. The rear I do not know. One would have to go measure the clearance of the rear wheel well. I think that unless you lowered your car, you should still have a lot of room back there. You need to make sure you are not rubbing the inner side of the wheel well with your tires of your rims. You could use spacers too...

I'm on stock suspension and do not plan on ruining EDC so it won't be changing.

I never thought it'd be this confusing to get rims to fit on the Z4
