Hello,

I've replaced al the classic yellow lights in my car for white LEDs and most of the connectors look like this one. I think this is the connector to the light available behind the seats, near the medium HP. May be it's the cable for this HP.

It's required for the Highsenberg effect. Look it up in the manual on page 46. It only makes a difference if you plan to do inter-dimensional travel (i.e, parallel universes and string theory). Otherwise, feel free to cut it because it's not required to tie together the fabric of time and space if you don't use the Highsenberg effect.

I have a light in the back, at the end of the little shelf ....it could be for that if you don't have the light. I will have to look and see what else is around there.

Manufactures often do that - it's no doubt for optional equipment that the dealer didn't order for your car.

All kidding aside, the last thing you want to is cut it off. You could cause an electrical short, damage equipment, damage your system and cause no end of problems. As noted, tuck it away yourself or have your dealer do it for you and forget about it.

Start the car and touch it to your tongue to see if it's hot.
