Will two items of hand-luggage fit top-down?

My health is 60% but there's no going back now it seems; I'm picking my car up tommorow at last. On the way back I'll probably have the roof up lest 60% become 16...

...just in case though, will two items of hand luggage fit, top down? We wouldn't return until Tuesday.

What's the actual size in cm or inches?

My guess is yes, but would want to confirm with actual size of your luggage.

My guess is also yes. However, before my e89 delivery I took the luggage to the dealer and stuffed them in the back of one on the showroom floor with the top up and then the top down. Enjoy - it is an experience of a lifetime.

Don't have access to it right now but it's "the usual" size, like in the photo. It fits comfortably into an airliner luggage bin.

I think I'll have the roof up to be honest. I just don't feel that great...

You should have no problem with standard carryon baggage.

2x 22 inch bags will fit, + a small soft-sided duffel and a few large bottles of beer...

Experience

Don't forget the behind the seat storage as well, good for light jackets, hats...

I hope everything goes to plan. Pictures to follow.

yes for sure. We took the Zed 4 to the mountains last year and spent a week with the top down in the mountains. Had stuff behind the seat too but was comfortable.

Yes, standard US carry on luggage will work 22" x 14" x 9". Two pieces + small duffel. Partition will close for top down. This is one of the main reasons I bought the Z4 over a Boxster S. Great for a getaway weekend with my wife & I. There are many other reasons.

The other reason was the Z4 fits my golf bag (pop-up stand) with a 45" driver in the trunk sideways without removing my driver or 3-wood. Another golf bag could be placed at 90 degrees using the compartment opening into the passenger area. Top must be up in this case. Not doable in a Boxster.

I'm quite sure that it would fit in that space w/ the cover thingy down in the trunk. I was able to put a reg luggage AND a carry-on in that space, so 2 carry-ons should be no prb.
