New Z4 owner
Just like to introduce myself to the forum.
I am new to the BMW forum and previously on the 370Z forum. A year ago I seriously downgraded from a '10 M3 to a 370Z and have been ever since. But now I am back in a BMW and couldn't be much happier. I didn't get the Premium Sound Package, so I have one major upgrade I am starting to work on. I've already found lots of good advice and ideas from some of you out there. Thanks a bunch. I wish we had a DIY section here share stuff. But other than that, I'm ready to enjoy this great car. |

Thanks. I have had my eye on it. It may go on my christmas list I do like the one touch feature instead of holding it down until it completes a cycle. I have a long driveway and opening and closing the top while cruising at <10mph should never affect the top. I can't see raising and lowering much faster than that. It's a nice feature to be able to adjust your speed to a level you feel safe operating the top while in motion.

What I really like is I can open the top while walking to the car or close it as I walk away and don't have to hold until it finish. It should have been a feature from the factory

Yes, that too. Also the double click to fold away your mirrors is a nice feature as well.

I meant the option list when buying the car Check your manual, comfort access is described in the section for the key, unlocking and locking if I remember correct.

I thought comfort access only Lock/Unlock & Start engine without having touched the key. Opening and closing the top is a standard feature on the remote but you have to hold the button down until it finish which is a hassle.

Hoa,
Go to bmwvin.com put in the last 7 characters if your vin. Then enter the code as shown. This will give you all the installed options on your vehicle. |
