Will they void your car's warranty?? Will they use what ever reason to deny their responsibility??

Why would you want to? Do you seriously think that a $50 aftermarket airfilter is going to perform better than anything BMW would put in there in the first place?

there's a lot of filter that works better than BMW stuff,You can put it on but:
say goodbye to your warranty
don't expect more than 2-3 bhp
cone filters must be placed in order to suck fresh air(so put it far from exhaust manifold or near the engine bloick), or you will lose bhp.....

air filters alone worth nothing, even with velvetronic engines...twin scroll turbo engines have a marginal gain and a remap firstly is better(35i can go at 360 bhp with no fuss at all and still retaining their original filters!)

so: are you sure that 50$/GBP/euros filters worth something more than standard ones?

I suggest you to keep your warranty as it is now, then the usual filter-exhaust-remap procedure to get more bhp....dont expect however big improvements....

Kinda my point there Francesco...

Sure, an air filter WITH other (costly) tweaks/modifications can result in an increase, but an air filter in and of itself is not really worth much.

I am considering this intake. Very popular with 335 owners.

I have one of these....

If you are at stock power levels( no tune) you wont pickup any noticeable power increases, but you can hear your turbos swoosh more..... I like it.

If you have a tune that is approaching 400 crank horsepower, they make a big difference as the stock filter becomes limiting at higher rpm's....

What tuner did you use, JB3?
