Cargo cover with netting attached

When the hinges on my cargo cover broke, the dealer replaced the entire cover. The new cover came with netting attached to the bulkhead side (closest to the interior), however it is only partially mounted. I cant figure out how it is supposed to mount and the dealer had no clue. Does anyone have this on their car?
I suspect it is from a later model e89 than my 2010. I'd love to see pictures of the way the netting fastens to the trunk. It looks like it is intended to keep items from coming in contact with the top mech & hinges and it looks like it stretches as the cover is snapped into place for top storage.

No clue. I have 2012 and don't have this netting.

Check out that pic from a 2014. The netting is shown on the sides. Hope this helps.

My 2012 doesn't have this either. Seems like a part revision

Thanks, that's exactly what the dealer gave me but it seems like mine is missing the attachment points on the bulkhead.
