Haha! The first day I got mine, I took it back and forth from Los Angeles to San Francisco over a weekend and was broken in 2.5 days. I drove it varied RPM, plus in L.A. traffic so it had all sorts of speed within 2.5 days. Then I gradually increased the RPM afterwards. Driving manual in L.A. gets tire some, I try to use the Navi to get me around the local roads though.

You're welcome

Seems like I heard a song that went something like that. . . 2,000kms seems so far away

Was that James Taylor or Carole King?

Cheers

Good advice from 'H-Doc' and 'teagueAMX' to which I would add my recommendation to let the engine idle for a minute or two before switching off. This will allow the oil and coolant temperatures to stabilise - not so important if you've just been gently cruising around town, but more so after more spirited driving.

I notice when I unlock the car, there seems to be some fluid sound near the back, like it's getting the fuel tank primed or something, is that normal? Sounds normal to me but just wanna make sure.

mine does it to, a long whirring sound like a pump. does it when I shut it down as well (I think). Almost to the stage of tuning it out.
