Inside Line Reviews the 2011 Z4 SDrive35is
Inside Line just reviewed the 2011 Z4 SDrive35is and their review has left me a bit confused. They really did not seem to like the car too much which goes against what I have been hearing from other reviews. Also, I've driven the Z4 35is on BMWs track in Spartanburg, SC and was rather pleased with it, especially considering that it is not an "M" car. Anyways, here is the review from Inside Line:

The best thing to do is test drive the Z4 yourself and trust your own opinion...... and it sounds like you've already done that.
I never trust subjective reviews, as it is nothing more than someone else's opinion, which I care little about. |

Forget the reviews and go test drive one. For some reason most reviewers want to compare the car to a Boxster which it really isn't. To me, the Z4 is a category of its own on the market. It handles better than a vanilla SLK, has a hard top, and looks better. It handles softer than a Boxster S but so much more stylish...

It's funny but the only time I ever see a Boxster it's being driven by a girl, possibly a hairdresser....
Here's my review (the only one that counts IMO ) I love the car , don't like the RFT's. It goes like a bat out of hell, corners great in the canyons and I have 380hp in it. It eats Boxsters for brekky, poops out Caymans and looks good doing it. End of review. thank you.

To me the car is more like a GT (Gran Touring) car than a hardcore track toy. With that in mind the few short comings I have are the RFT's, strange steering feel, and a too soft rear sway bar. As soon as my non-RFT's come in I will run them for a few hundred miles then determine what I will do with the rear bar.

0-60 in 5 sec!! I have no hard data, but I would wager a bunch that this car is at least 4.5. Mine hits 60, 70, 80 and beyond on similar stretches that my E92 M3 manual did in what feels like darn close times!

The Z4 35i has already been road tested at between 4.3-4.7 seconds, 0-60 mph.

v v My mistake
At first glance it looked similar to Edmunds "First Drive" review, and somebody had been digging up old reviews.
