And the driver is capable of it. Most American drivers are not. They have not had the driver's training that Germans get.
The best thing I ever did was take an advanced driving course then go to college for a major that involved lots of physics. Made me a much better driver for sure. :P

Sometimes when not much cars around I can do 100 for short periods.

If someone is driving 70-75 in left lane, I will tailgate too. That's what all state cops do as well
They are driving 100 to 110 mph any lane! State cops usually drive fast if they have an emergency! Not an excuse to drive fast and risk someone else's just because He/she is late for work or a narsaccistic prick.

Autobahns are designed for high speed (horizontal design, Profile, stopping sights etc.) We do not have high quality road surfaces here either. I've yet to see a well done CALTRANS facility. They are crap from Day 1. This guy is a bag of dicks for that kind of driving. And Ive come to realize/accept that CHP will never enforce the laws when it comes to the fast lane passing only issue. So many People are oblivious.

Was it ditched and then reported stolen or was it actually stolen days ago and it just happened to pop up?

Be safe out there, the road is filled with morons.

This. Cali roads suck! Some of our highways are downright dangerous.

Irrespective of the passing lane and whether or not, should'a, would'a, could'a based on some of the above posts, the G35/7 or whatever that car was, he/she is a sperm chugging douche bag for even thinking they could beat the truck and 4 series into the lane. I feel for people caught in this, it's just not right and someone could of died because of it. Awful and repulsive driving.

What's w/ the trying to partially blame the left-lane driver? The whole freaking hwy's clogged up, do you expect the dude to move to the right when there are still 100s of cars occupying the lane? It's every 'man' for himself in these situations, no one's moving to the right out of nowhere.
