E92 parts compatable with E89?

Hey guys,

I'm new to the E89. I just purchased a 2013 pure traction 35is (which I'm still waiting on delivery from the west coast). I also have an 08 335xi that makes 681awhp (4th gear, dynojet, smoothing 5) which I plan on selling. But not before swapping over as many parts as I can. As far as the N54 is concerned I'm aware of what parts are going to work and what aren't. Outside of that I'm lost. so for starters if anyone has any info on whether or not I can swap these over it would be immensely helpful.

E92 m3 gauge cluster (I love the adaptive tach for cold starts + the color)
E92 M performance electronic steering wheel
F30 M performance brakes (front and rear + e92 2pc rotors)
E92M3 master brake cylinder
E92 Fuel-it stage 3 low pressure fuel pump
E92 335is auxiliary coolant radiator (is there room in the wheel well?

With the exception of the master cylinder you can see why I want to save these parts for my next project. Any info would be awesome.

Thanks!

I don't know how big your auxiliary coolant radiator is.

However, the E89 has an oil cooler in the passenger side front bumper cover/wheel well. The drivers side has an equivalent amount space if you do something with the horns and alarm siren.

Also, This car as a LOT of room in front of the radiator/AC condenser. Possibly you can mount one more "layer" of radiators.

Cheers,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Welcome to the community.

Some quick points for you.

- I think the e92 M steering wheel is slightly larger than the Z's.
- There is a thread that calls out which oem brakes can swap in, complete with product #s.
- There is a thread from Buraq where he hit 500whp on stock fuel system. He did some testing on the lpfp so it may be worth looking at.

good luck,
Jake

The gauge cluster is completely different and I don't know if you can push the N54 to the S65 8400rpm redline that the M3 gauge cluster indicates.
