After months of trying to decide what to get to replace her '01 330ci convertible, my wife finally chose a 135i convertible. So we went back to the BMW dealer with checkbook in hand. Then she saw a new Z4 in the showroom and changed her mind at the last minute. So we just ordered a 2010 Z4 35i with this configuration:

Deep Sea Blue
Beige Extended Leather
Manual 6 spd
Ash Grain Trim
Premium Pkg
Sport Pkg
Premium Sound System
Comfort Access
Heated Seats
Satellite Radio
Anti-Theft
Park Distance Control

No delivery date yet but supposedly will be in about 8 weeks.

Hi everyone! I got my Z4 3.5i last night. My original plan to replace my '07 Z4si was to Euro delivery a 135 cabrio but the deals on the 2009 Z4s convinced me to end my lease early and upgrade to the new model. Purchased from the lot:

Space Gray Metallic
Coral Red Leather
Ash Grain Wood Trim
Premium Package
Sport Package
19" wheels
DCTw/ paddles (last car was a manual, but I had hip surgery this year for a torn labrum)
Heated seats
Sat radio
Ipod adapter

I would have given up the satellite and Ipod for comfort access, but otherwise this car is perfect for me. Two cars ago I had an S2000 and wished I had gotten it in silverstone/red. Now I have it. I autoX'd the last Z4 but don't know if I'll do it in this one or use my husband's '08 M3 instead.

Quite surprised at how quickly this order is moving through the process, certainly has not been my experience in previous orders. Good luck with your order, at least it doesn't have as far to ship when completed.

I'm wondering if anyone from northern California knows how long it takes once it reaches Oxnard VPC to reach bay area dealerships? My 2010 arrived at the dock in Oxnard on 10/16, up to now my dealership has not gotten the car yet? Don't know why it is taking so long? I thought it would be usually 3 days after docking that the car would be here?

Should be getting close, since the 16th was a Friday, probably didn't get to VPC until Monday the 19th. I would figure a couple days at VPC, then a day to the dealership. You should be able to call dealer to get VPC status.

Thanks! I checked owner's circle and it still shows enroute instead of VPC. I'll call my sales agent later.

But it's true, too little storage space, and I found the battery under the cover of the boot.

I picked mine up yesterday!! I already put 130 miles on it. I know I was told there is a break-in process for 1200 miles or something, but I just couldn't help revving it above 6k RPM at times. It's just so smooth.

My 35i Z4 is on the Aegean Highway, left Bremerhaven on 10/15, vessel arrived & departed Baltimore on 10/28, now enroute to Port Charleston, due to arrive today 10/30, maybe by end on next week available for dealer delivery
