18 inch oem tyres and rims to 19 inch rims with aftermarket tyres ... suggestions ?
I plan on upgrading to 19 inch alloy wheels in the near future. Still undecided on the tyres though ... what are your suggestions for normal use ???

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric's came out tops in Evo magazine's tyre test last year. I had them fitted to my Z4 M Coupe with 19" CSL's and they were great, significantly better than the standard fit Conti's in every way. Michellin Pilot Sport 2's were recommended by many for the same car and came 2nd in the same Evo test, so I'd imagine the new Pilot Sport 3's would be a nice match for the E89.
I had Bridgestones on my old Mazda RX-8 PZ and wasn't much of a fan - wet weather performance was awful! In dry weather, they were somewhere between good and average. Feels like the run flats we get from Bridgestone on the E89 are much the same really. I'll be swapping to the Goodyears or Michelins when the time comes.
