Charge pipe/ Diverter valve worth it?

Is a chargepipe/diverter valve upgrade worth in on the N54?
Anyone have any real world dynos showing a power increase?

Just seeing what should be next on the list. So far i have:

-Cobbv3 tune
-Remus axelback
-Wagner FMIC
-Wagner catless DP's
-AFE Intake

Going to stick to bolt-on's. Dont want anything too crazy.

I have the ER charge pipe with HKS BOV, I don't think you gain much from doing it, but I like the sound of the BOV. For that alone its worth it. The factory charge pipe is plastic and can fail when you run higher boost. So its a worthwhile upgrade for modified cars.

I have the ER charge pipe with a Tial blow-off valve. I don't think it adds any power, but it was easy enough to do when I installed the intercooler. I liked the idea of simplifying the intake plumbing by eliminating the two recirculating valves, and also liked the idea of all-metal tubing instead of plastic. The sound is a nice bonus, too.

I have an ER charge pipe with Forge DVs. Most likely it is from the DVs, but I feel the car is smoother. Not a huge difference, to me it was more about eliminating the weak links after doing the ER intercooler setup.

I had issues with the ER Chargepipe on my HPF FMIC. The HPF FMIC uses the stock connection and the ER Chargepipe did not work for me. I decided to use the stock Chargepipe and I went with the Turbosmart BOV and it works great. It certainly holds the boost better than the stock DVs and you can change between BOV and DV.

I ran ER all the way. ER Charge Pipe w/ HKS BOV and ER FMIC. Bolted on with no issues. Love the sound of my HKS BOV.

The ER CP is designed to work with their FMIC but it won't fit if you have another FMIC setup. I spent months dealing with them on this.

Strange we have different experiences with ER. I have a 5 inch Wagner and ER cp and they fit together perfectly. My only hiccup was a vacuum line that fell off the nipple.

Is you HPF 7 inch? Maybe that's the discrepancy?

I had an N54 135i (JB4,Charge Pipe and Catless DP's) ran well and now an E89 N54. I put the JB4 in it and had under boost issues. Waiting on AR Catless DP's and the charge pipe to come in. I ordered it with Forge DV's (Suggested by Mike at N54tuning.com) as running a Tial BOV is better if you are running Meth which I won't be. Hopefully the under boost issue will go once I put the aftermarket charge pipe on (based on the plastic stock charge pipe theory)
