Dealer confirmed that mine will be delivered during week 22. I'll probably have to wait an extra week to get the papers done, so week 23 will be the handover.

Waiting is the hardest part

excellent... but at 48k you are going to settle for leatherette and no PDC? the cost of PDC saves it self.. I had an 08 Ridgeline.. and scuffed the bumper while backing up at the parking garage at work (US) and estimate to fix was 650ugg.. lucky it was a lease and Honda took care of it no cost...

in italy:
sDrive23i 39950
sDrive30i 44750
sDrive35i 50350
all prices in euro.includung VAT and burocracy expenses

big differences in standard equipment are:
no leather standard for 23i
comfort access system standard for 35i
23i and 30i have standard alloy no.290, 17"
35i has 292 alloys, 17" wiith different tyres front/rear
alloy inserts on dashboard for 35i

then I don't know the standard options for every market

Just been informed that my car is on a transporter somewhere in the UK so I should be picking it up on Friday (fingers crossed). Just in time for the bank holiday weekend.

Called my dealer today for making an appointment to testdrive the Z4. He was happy to report that my car was in Genk (customs). My car might even be at the dealership by tomorrow!!!!!

(Paperwork will take a whole week, though. So delivery is for end of next week, begin of the following week...)

well, I meant to put Park distance control on there PDC, but accidentally put PDR. None the less, I have it on my car. Leatherette was a heartbreak decision. I like the Pure White (expensive and will get filthy) and the beige (quasi-expensive and will get filthy) so I went with cheaper and cleaner (looking lol). Im just not into the possibility of staining and I didn't want every dime of my deployment money going into this car, because wife will kill me a lot...pretty much until i die from it...So basically I got the practical niceties and went rugged where i felt it was due. all in all, I'm freakin stoked to get outta here and drive this piece!

I was tracking my Z4 on BMWUSA.com. Saw it been built and currently awaiting transport. Wondering how much longer will it take to get to Northeast US???? Can't wait any longer!!!

My car is at the dealer!!!! I'll be going to visit them in about 30 minutes

I've to wait for the paperwork, though. The salesperson promised me that I'll be able to pickup my car by the end of the week!

FEESTJE!

I love the smell of a new car (in the morning?)...

Jippie! I went to the dealer to have a first glance at my car. A colleague of mine borrowed me his camera, so I could take some pictures.
Like always in this kind of situations I forgot to put the camera in the right setting, so the pictures aren't very decent.

The car was still in "transport mode", so I couldn't open it using the remote, neither could I operate the radio/navigation/... As you can see it was still wearing its pajamas.

Does anyone know if you can remove the storage-thing behind the seats. It's not the skiing bag, but it has a "door" at both sides (in the car and in the boot/trunk). EDIT: Seems that you can fold the "door" down... Could be practical when going camping in July.

Can't wait until the documents arrive...

Cheers,
Niels
