Blower Motor is not working. Has anyone tried to replace the blower motor and/or resistor? I've tried, but it's too hard to get to. Thanks.

If you did not already check the fuse box in the top of the passenger side foot well, I would before tearing out the blower motor.

Thanks for your reply. 1st thing I did was check the fuse box. All good...is it ever that easy. lol After that I removed a plastic vent tube and the blower motor was exposed. It's held in place with 3 screws, 1 of which is not reachable nor even visible. All the time, I'm positioned upside down with my feet up and over the seat and a flashlight in my mouth. Not a pretty picture. I'm really not sure how anyone can get to and remove the blower motor unless the dash is removed. Sure would love to have a repair manual.

You might register and pay $30 to access and download some help files for accessing the blower motor resistor. https://www.bmwtis.com
Good luck, keep us posted. I replaced my m3 e46 resistor. Very rewarding, requires patience but a real pia.
