Replacing O2

I wasn't able to find any HowTos for this on our subforum, there were a few on the 3 subforums but somewhat scattered. I know from installing my AR downpipes, the O2 sensors were hard to get to because of the tight space, but still doable.

Just yesterday my check engine light came on with codes p29E0 and p29E1, which is most likely the O2 sensors going bad. Use the Cobb AP to take a look at the error codes.

Asked dealer for a quote, if reasonable just let them do it. Well, if this isn't highway robbery, I don't know what is. Dealership quote $1695 replace all four. I shopped around for the parts for Bosch and Denso.

Bosch parts are:
17102 Upstream Rear:
17098 Upstream Front: this is the longer one but basically same as 17102, can be used for both front and rear, if you use this for both just make sure to mark them to identify them when hooking back up on top; NOTE* this part is cheaper than 17102 on average about $20 cheaper
16796 Downstream Rear
16795 Downstream Front

Denso(expensive) parts are:
234-5138 Upstream Cylinder 4,5,6
234-5139 Upstream Cylinder 1,2,3
234-4876 Downstream Cylinder 1,2,3
234-4892 Downstream Cylinder 4,5,6

Well I have a weekend project to do. Will try to take pictures and update this thread.

Did you just install your DP's. It is possible that you have them switched around. It would be very unlikely for all of them to be bad.

No, I have been running the downpipes for awhile(almost 4 months). I am positive I didn't switch them. I am currently running an aggressive tune, so it's possible with the high boost the sensors would go out before it's time to change them.

Only the two upstreams are bad, I decided to just go ahead and change all four of them at the same time.
