Sport seats too narrow?

Hi all,
I'm driving my Z4 now for one whole year. And very happy with it, except for the option 'Sportseats'. I find them really too narrow for me. My legs are resting on the higher sides of the seat. Anyone have same issue?
I really consider changing the seats back to normal seats, but that's maybe very pricey.
Looking forward to hearing tips, and/or shared experiences.
DD

I find the sport seats very comfortable. Much better and more supportive than seats in previous car - 2007 Corvette.

Maybe you just have a......hmmm nevermind No such problem here, in fact I was a bit disappointed in the lack of thigh support. The M seats in my E85 were better in that area.

I have 18" arms, 28" thighs, 48" chest and 34" waist and I fit fine, so you must be a really big guy to find them uncomfortable. Take a pic of your seat.

Foolish question but do you have the adjustment set to the widest possible (the little switch on the side at the very front, Makes the seat wide or narrow)

thanks

Thanks guys for your replies.
No I'm not that big...
My electronically adjustable sportseats in my '07 3 series coupe (E92) were perfect. My Z4 sportseats are manually adjustable. Maybe there's a difference in adjustability..

I have the sport seats and find them very comfortable. I have the electronically adjustable seats, and found there is plenty of adjustment space. I'm around 185 pounds, and there is plenty of extra width beyond the setting I'm most comfortable in.

I am roughly the size and shape of a silverback mountain gorilla. 6'2" 260lbs, ex weightlifter...

(no smiley)

I find it easy to get a comfortable setting for the chairs.
All the way back, all the way down, widest setting for the seatback wings, just enough upwards curvature of the seat base to support my thighs.

I have no problem with the seats, better than the standard ones.

The sport seats are comfortable for my 275 lb butt. However, my right leg resting against the center console is a bit too firm. So, I have to adjust myself so that I won't have to rest against it.

I think it may have with the size of the compartment, rather than the seat to blame.

Otherwise, that kind of seats, it is surprisingly comfortable for a big guy like me.

I have long thighs and wish that the front part of the seat bottom can be extended further.
