Nice Z4-M! I think the trim would look nice if it came in gloss black instead of chrome.

Pending the retrofit, here are my side markers wrapped with 20% smoked film as well as my smoked film reflectors on both the F and R bumper. Less than $2.00 to upgrade. These pictures are before and after de-badging and Pre black CF roundels and black CF center caps.

Its funny, I was actually considering switching back to the pre-facelift style once my 2014 comes, and was curious about the tab on the newer style as I saw it there on realoem.

OP, that tab leads me to believe that on the 2014+ there is a slot cut into the body of the car that tab fits into - agree? If so, I'll either A) leave it as it is or B) potentially cover/change it as you have. Need to see it in person before deciding.

It absolutely looks like BMW cut a slot in the fender panel for the new LCI side marker, based upon the pictures and the fact that the tab has to be cut off for retrofit. Making this Reverse mod back to the per 2014 side markers will be costly.

Same here. My dealership said these were not available; curious to know how you managed to get these, since I would be interested in this mod.

No biggie. I'll either leave as-is or cover in some way if I think I can improve them; paint as OP did, or perhaps a CF wrap. I noticed there's a Di-Noc wrap that seems to match the M Aluminum Carbon Shadow trim, that might be nice.

I don't actually mind the white indicators. Maybe it's because my car is white :P

Got an answer from the parts guy at my dealership; they will be available from June 3rd onward, and would take roughly 8 business days to ship (special order as someone already pointed out). Cost is $105 EACH! I may rethink this mod....$210 (plus 13% tax) is pretty steep for a pair of pretty flimsy plastic parts. That said, I saw a 2014 on the showroom floor and it does look pretty slick, at least compared to the white indicators on my '11.

They're on... Forgive the filters, the cars a little grimy and I thought the filters might hide it a bit! I really like them, but I appreciate they won't be everyone's taste, primarily because the standard ones are a bit unremarkable and these are the other end of the scale.

Original..

LCI..

Nice! I like them alot. May I ask what you paid (if you don't mind sharing)? Also, did you purchase via internet or did you go directly to your dealership?

You can get them at a roughly 25% discount at www.bmwmercedesparts.com once you register.

Ordered mine from there. $48 ea + $8 for shipping. Sometimes they are slow in getting the order out the door, but the price is right. Thinking about painting them Wurth wheel silver with a clear top coat. Looking forward to ditching the existing white blobs.

I have heard that it`s a back order from BMW for 4 weeks now I think this mod has been really popular for many pre face owners

I just checked the site and cannot seem to locate the turn indicators anywhere in their catalogue....would you happen to have a specific link to the part by any chance? If not, no worries. I'll send them an email.

Duh!....nice. Thanks very much Herrk, didn't think of that.

EDIT: Just checked and sure enough, they have them....sadly, they don't ship to Canada. Guess I'll have to wait for them to be available from my dealership and pay the big bucks.

If you are like me, you can ship them to cbiusa, a storage service just past the Niagara border. I sent my shifter upgrade and some tires there, 6 dollars per package for storing it until you pick it up.

On holiday in Long Island last week, popped into BMW dealer, they said not available till mid June in the US, just thought i might have picked them up a bit cheaper out there.
