For my 2011 Z4 3.0 I added 2 80W Cree Led Angel Eye LEDs and Bluetooth Streaming ( I don't have nav.). Yeah. Loving my 2011 Z4 still!!!

And I posted my 2003 Z4 with hardtop for sale on craigslist.

Sorry about the long response. What I did for bluetooth streaming is but a Rocketfish Bluetooth Music Receiver Model RF-BTR212 I think it was ~50USD$.

It was exactly what I was looking for, I also took apart a 5dvc 1 amp usb car charger, shrink wrapped it and I wires it directly (soldered) to power the Rocketfish. The everything is tucked away behind the scenes so to speak.

Now I just turn the radio to input and I can stream music from my iphone, or Pandora.

There were a few other options but I really liked this device. Let us know what you did.

I did something similar for Bluetooth streaming in my E46 but I used this NFC enabled one. I mounted it behind the center console so it was out of sight but with the NFC if I ever need to pair a new phone with it I just have to hold the phone against the right spot on the side of the console and it'll automatically pair with it.
