Satellite Radio problem

I took delivery of a new 2010 3.0 (with Premium Radio) 4 weeks ago and the SAT radio has been mostly dead since then. Almost every time when selecting SAT, the radio goes to "acquiring" and is dead. A took it to BMW last week and they tell me it is a "software" problem, and BMW is working on it. That is great, but I wonder why everyone isn't having the same issue.

I have seen several posts concerning this problem, but nothing lately. Has anyone experienced this, and what was the fix? All I want is my SAT radio to work. Please give me your feedback.

i have a 2010 3.0 and have never had a problem with the satellite radio.

Thanks for the reply. I am beginning to think my Dealer is blowing smoke up my behind with this tale of a "software problem". If it was software, everyone would be having the problem. Doesn't that make sense?????
