New Michelin PSS Owner

I'm a new owner of a set of Michelin PSS 18". Boy they are nice. Noise over lane nubs are near silent. Now that I am not on runflats I ordered the continental compressor found at tire rack. as I looked for a place to store it I found that it fits perfectly in the pass through ski option from trunk to the car. just need to add a little strap to hold it tightly in place. Nice fit . With all of your input this Forum really can change or direct us the right direction. The tires and compressor are two great solutions

I have the 19" PSS on 313 Performance alloys and it's a super good move. Lots of bonus for the slight risk of puncture issues.

Same tires, size and storage place! Yeah the Conti is like custom made for the pass through compartment.

Dealers don't want to install non-RFT, right? Or even stock them.

When on non-RFT, can you still utilize Roadside for a flat?

what I notice most is the cornering. before there was tire skip that moved you to the outside of the turn but now its sticks all the way around. vibration noise within the cab are gone as well.

I know all of us drive differently but what do feel is the approx. amount of miles before replacement?

I had non rft installed at delivery, so my dealer doesn't care. And roadside assistance is a benefit you are entitled to (and later pay for) so they gave to help you

I got 15k out of my rear PSS. Probably get 30 out of my front then get 4 new ones.

I originally replaced the runflats with 19" Yokohama Sdrives, but they developed sidewall impact bubbles within a year on the fronts from small road imperfections in my area and on the way to NY this week, one of the fronts bubbled badly after an impact with a small pothole on the interstate. So I ordered the Michelin PSS from Tirerack and had them installed while in Geneva NY at a place called Geneva Foreign & Sports (had some great used BMWs on their lot!). The PSS are much stickier than the Yokohamas and a better ride!

Has anyone had an issue with the impact sidewall bubbles on the PSS tires???

Franchise dealer ordered and installed the non-RFT for me

I think replacement every 15k miles is a good GUESS for summer tires.
