Alpine HiFi upgrade kit on a Z4?

Hi

Anyone tried adapting the Alpine HiFi upgrade kit for E89s? I figured the speaker config on a standard 6 speaker setup is similar to 1 and 3 series , and the Z4 has tweeter grills already ... And at £380 with amp sounds reasonable ....not sure why BMW never sold a version of this for the Z4....

Bavsound just came out with a stage 1 upgrade for the speakers. Pretty reasonable price for the preorder of $257. I believe the special preorder price has expired and they normal go for $357. You can order now and they will ship in June. I decided to go that route as everything is plug and play.

I already had a small Kenwood power pack amp installed under the dash but it's not as effective as it should be because of being paired with the stock speakers. Hopefully the speaker upgrade will pay off.

I ordered the Stage 1 kit as well. Interesting they selected to deal with the 5 specific speakers which they did.
