Headlight washer

Hi guys, anyone know how to disable the headlight washers ? Pulling the fuse or unplugging it ? Thanks.

I doubt anyone's tried, I think they quite like clean headlights!

theres a few threads on the 3 series boards about it.

the easiest thing to do is to turn the headlights off and only pull the stalk partway.

I got a M-Sport bumper unfortunately it doesn't have the cut outs for it. That being said I never been a big fan of the washers especially after a car wash . I won't really miss'em

So I'm curious because I'm waiting on a Z4 with m sport. If there's no cut out then do you have headlight washers? And if so where are they?

I think it's an option, not all cars have them. The washers are inside the bumper and they are right under the head light (little to the right and left of the head lights) the cut out looks like the tow hook cut out. If your car has them then make sure u get the one with the cutouts the same way you want a bumper with the Parking sensor dimples if you have that option. E86 It was easy to unhook the power. Hope on the E89 it doesn't throw any error codes when its disconnected.

Yeah, I have the cold weather package so I'm expecting headlight washers. Still confused though...you want to disable them but it doesn't sound like you have them because there are no cut outs. Am I getting this straight?

I have a 35i with headlight washer, but NO M-sport bumper. I bought a M-sport bumper and It doesn't have the cut outs for the washer.

My 28i doesn't have the washers but still have the stupid cut-outs.

In the UK it is illegal to have Xenons without headlamp washers....

I have an Msport bumper on my iS, so you should be able to order a bumper with the cutouts.
