Honestly I'm playing retro coin op games, the kind we used to play in the arcade. I built a hyperspin arcade, in a 4 player Midway cabinet; with about 75-80 games such as 1942, Donkey Kong, Operation Wolf, Street Fighter (1-6), Capcom vs Marvel...ect.

Most arcade games are only available via browser games...or does anyone of ya know a certain source to get them runable under W7 on CD/DVD?

While I cannot tell you exactly where to find such games, I can tell you to conduct a quick Google search for "Arcade ROMs". Visit one of the sites that comes up and you will not be disappointed. As for playing them, you can use an emulator called MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) to play them. Most of the old arcade games from 70's to 2008 are playable on Win7/Mac, the biggest problem you have is the screen refresh rate, or setting up your joystick. Games like Street Fighter, that were played on an old CRT type screen lag a bit when played on a newer LCD/LED screen. You could go all out and buy an actual Arcade cabinet, then build a MAME / Hyperspin front end or buy a 60in1 JAMA...

The difference:

Hyperspin/MAME cabinet = lotta work, but you get the satisfaction of playing what you want.

JAMA 60in1 = easy, plug&play, most of the work is done for you, you just need a monitor and joysticks... drawback; you get what they put on it. The 60in1 usually contains the first 60 games like: Dig Dug, Space Invaders, Centipede, break out, Mario,...ect, you aren't getting games like Air Gallet, House of Dead, Area 51, Punch Out..

I blame my 5 year long BSME on WoW. I am still playing outside of college, but god damn is that game addicting. I have been playing off and on since 2005.

Hey, 5 years isn't bad at all. I'm cyclical with it too. Enjoy the economics side of it - trying to hit gold cap. I justify it by tying it into my field of study
